I began camera assisting in 1994 and was subsequently trained in-house by the BBC Natural History Unit before finally becoming a fully-fledged wildlife cameraman ten years later.

My speciality is filming at height from ropes, particularly in the rainforest canopy. The high tropical canopy remains largely unexplored: a treasure trove of natural beauty that I am passionate about sharing with others. But whether filming at height or with feet on the ground, I consider long lens hide-work, cable-cams & adventure filming to be my core camera skills. I’ve won two EMMY’s, two RTS’s and been BAFTA nominated several times for my work.

It’s been my privilege to work alongside the best during the past thirty years but there’s always more to learn and discover.
